CARE FOR AZALEA BONSAI AFTER THEY’VE FLOWERED
On Sunday, June 24, 2007, 1 - 3 pm, a long time Bay area bonsai artist, Seiji Shiba will demonstrate how to care for a satsuki azalea after it has flowered. This post-blooming care is important to achieve the fine branching desired in mature bonsai.

BLACK PINE BONSAI SUMMER CARE
On Sunday, July 22, 2007, 1 - 3 pm, a long time Bay area bonsai artist, John Boyce, will demonstrate how to decandle a Japanese Black Pine and other pines like it. This candle removal is important to achieve the fine branching desired in bonsai.
