by Lawrence LeClaire | May 14th, 09May General Meeting - Penjing with Steve Jang

Penjing is the ancient Chinese art of landscape planting and is believed to be the inspiration for modern bonsai. Many of us have seen these fabulous compositions of ancient riverbeds, mountain landscapes, and jagged canyons all created in miniature. Steve Jang will lead our meeting by discussing the intricacies of penjing plantings. He will also compose a planting as a demonstration for the membership. The final composition will be raffled to a lucky member at the end of the program.

Thursday, May 14 at 7:30PM at the Hall of Flowers.
