Tim Kong will be leading our August General Meeting about carving deadwood on bonsai. Carving deadwood on your tree highlights your artistic abilities and promotes the appearance of age on your trees. Carving your tree requires personal knowledge of how Mother Nature styles exposed wood on trees in harsh environments. It also requires that you know how to recreate those process at home on your trees. Tim Kong has spent many years studying and practicing deadwood and carving techniques. He will share his knowledge at the August meeting. 7:30PM at the County Fair Building.
