Nov 21st: Join other members on a day-long, collecting field trip in Zamora. Available trees are located on private property and include: Quercus Lobata—Valley Oak, Arbutifolia Heteromeles-California Toyon, Mission Olive, Pomegranate. Please be prepared for hard work. Nov 30th: The Bonsai Garden at Lake Merrit needs volunteers Saturday Morning Dec. 4, 9 am to noon to help transport trees from the storage area to the Garden activities building and back so that they can be photographed for the catalog of auction trees for next year's fund raiser.
