[i]Thunbergiana[/i] 5 yrs in training Exposed root slant style When I acquired this tree, much of the root structure that is now visable was buried under the soil in a deep pot. Over the course of a couple years I have slowly brought the tree further out of the pot to accentuate the interesting roots. If you look closely you can see the bark is more flakey and aged looking above the roots than on them. Over the course of a few years the rotos will gain flakey bark as well.
