Aug 11th: Greetings everyone! First of all, my apologies for spotty newsletter/website coverage the past few months. There’s a good excuse. May 5th: May is here! That means the time to prepare for our 50th Anniversary Party, Show, and Sale is running out. Your BSSF leadership has been working long hours preparing for the show. We have compiled invitation lists, detailed schedules, and diagrams of the show. On the morning of May 22, all of it will come together. Mar 8th: Everybody ready? For months the leadership of the BSSF has been announcing and preparing for the 2010 show season. That time is now here. Starting with this month the work begins. Jan 11th: Welcome to the new year! 2009 was a great year for BSSF. We had month after month of great, well attended meetings and workshops, many new members, and a great party to finish the year. Now, we have a new set of officers ready to kick off 2010. No doubt you’ve heard that this will be a busy year for our members. Nov 30th: From The Board Greetings! First, thanks to everyone for a very successful year with BSSF. With the economic downturn, many clubs have felt the account strings tighten and seen a loss of membership. BSSF is not immune, but have held our own. Aug 27th: As the last few meetings off 2009 approach, we would like to make a few announcements. 1. Elections! A slate of officers and board members is being assembled by Diana Lum, BSSF secretary. Nov 27th: Wow, the entire year of 2008 has nearly passed. Can you believe it? While facing the busy Holiday season this month, make sure to take a break and spend some time with your trees. December is really the premiere time of the year to perform major work on your trees so they move another step to becoming great bonsai. Jan 3rd: 2008, promises to be a great year for Bonsai enthusiasts. Our vice president, Lawrence LeClaire, has scheduled exciting demonstrations for our January and February meetings.
